Biography

Albin Guillot has been in the Financial Services industry since 2002 and during this time, he has personally conducted countless meetings which have allowed him to be seen as a pivotal resource to individuals. His accomplishments include a Fast Start Award as a rookie representative in 2002, MDRT - Million Dollar Round Table qualifications in 2003-2004 and 2010-2016, and many company Conferences. In addition, he holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, Chartered Financial Consultant®, Chartered Life Underwriter® and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living® designations from the American College. Albin’s tenure in the industry has included over 4 years in management as an Agency Sales Director. Through financial education workshops, Albin has trained thousands of people via the corporate setting.

Albin believes that strategy should be the first step in creating a financial roadmap and that most households spend more time researching their wireless carrier upgrade options rather than reviewing their financial position. Like it or not, more and more of the financial decisions are being transferred to the individual. With increased flexibility comes potentially a greater reward, but also greater risk.  It’s no surprise that Albin has continued to take courses and earn designations through the American College to help him become a more knowledgeable financial resource to his clients.

Reevaluating the risk / reward relationship over time makes sense because the numbers get larger and the risks intensify as we move closer to the goal. Through his personal investing experiences that started in his teenage years and helping clients manage their assets professionally since 2002, with market ups and downs, Albin has a wealth of real world experience to pull from. On a personal side, Albin enjoys playing in various tennis leagues, traveling the southwest watching his 16-year-old daughter’s basketball team, volunteering as a youth swim team judge, cooking, and fostering rescue animals. Also, he has served on many community boards throughout his business career. He is originally from the New Orleans area, but has spent almost 40 years in the Houston area and is a graduate of Baylor University with a BBA in Marketing.
